INTRODUCTION

By looking at others and figuring things out by ourselves, we've come up with a method of comic making that works really well for us. Our way of working is particularly designed for bigger stories though works well with smaller stories too. It offers structure throughout the process and eliminates much unnecessary work. We hate unnecessary work you see and as many artists we are we can be quite chaotic in our thinking so structure is vital.

When you have something you feel is good you want to share it with others, hence this website. It's not so much an tutorial, you're not going to learn how to draw or ink or such here. There are plenty of books and websites on those subjects. But the website will give you an insight on how we create our Tirn Aill comics and you might just find a thing or two coming in handy.

This site is divided into all the stages our comic goes through and as you can see, there are many stages. Especially the stages Script and Layout we think to be useful. Where ever necessary, examples have been put up to clarify things. Though there are more ways than one to create a comic, we hope you'll find our tips of help.
